This will be our kick-off to the 12 beers of Christmas! Delirium Noel, a Belgian dark strong ale at 10%, is their holiday seasonal and it is delicious. We’ll also be tapping rare beers Delirium Black Barrel Aged in Buffalo Trace Barrels at 11.8% and Delirium Averbode,a Belgian pale ale at 7.5% and of course Delirium Cans! We’ll be doing a swag and glass giveaway as well.

Kilchoman Whisky Dinner with special guest Robin Bignal, all the way from Islay

On Friday, November 16th, Fountainhead will be hosting a very special whisky dinner featuring 5 Kilchoman whiskies and 3 delicious food courses.

We are thrilled to have special guest Robin Bignal joining us from Islay for the evening. Robin is the Kilchoman Production Manager in charge of the distilling process. He oversees the key whisky-making processes at the heart of the distillery. From the malting and distilling to maturation and cask selection, Robin’s passion, knowledge and understanding of their unique hand-crafted practices guarantees the quality and consistency of each bottle of Kilchoman.


The dinner will cost $75 per person. Price includes tax but not gratuity. Seats are very limited for this unique whisky event. Tickets are available on Brown Paper Tickets.

Head to Head Tasting at Pre-Whisky Jewbilee Event

The Tuesday before the Whisky Jewbilee, November 6th, from 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Fountainhead will be hosting a head to head tasting with Scott Harris, owner of Catoctin Creek, and Ollie Chilton, Master Blender of Port Askaig Islay Single Malt Whisky.

This event is free to Whisky Jewbilee ticket holders (RSVP to info@whiskyjewbilee.com) but we are offering tickets to our regular customers for $20. Use this link to get your tickets!

Wednesday, October 24th – Maplewood Beer & Whiskey Event! – The 2nd in our Fall Whiskey & Cigar Series

The event starts with a free tasting in the Fountainhead Market from 5:00-7:00 where you can sample Maplewood beers as well as their whiskies, which are rarely seen outside of their own taproom.

At 7:00 our friends from Maplewood will move up to our roof to talk about their product, help you pick a beer and whiskey pairing, and perhaps choose the perfect cigar from Updown Cigars.

From Sunday, October 14th, through Friday, October 19th, we will be participating in Restaurant Week, put on by the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce. We are offering a 3 course pre-fixe menu for $30 per person (menu below). Our sister restaurant, The Northman, is also participating. Both restaurants can be found on OpenTable if you’d like to make a reservation.
